Jesus taught the disciples “The Lord’s Prayer” in Matthew 6:9-13. It contains the phrase “hallowed be your name” which basically means to show Father God the awe, honor and respect that He deserves. And because God encompasses what it means to be holy, we should also be holy like Him (or sanctified, consecrated and set apart for Him).
